Hi everyone, hope you all are doing well. So it’s weekend again and as we all know weekend is all about leisure. Many of us don’t want to cook heavy meals during weekend because we just don’t want to spend much time at kitchen. So here is my easy one pot meal idea for lazy weekends. This recipe is power packed with healthy vegetables and takes almost no effort to cook.
So, let’s get started with the recipe.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Baking Time: 40 minutes
~Chopped Ginger-Garlic- 2 tsp
~Chopped onion- 1 medium
~Chopped Carrot- 1/2 cup
~Chopped Green Chili- 2-3
~Boiled Potato- 3 medium
~Melted Butter- 50 gms
~Milk Cream- 2 Tsp
~Black Pepper Powder- 1/4th tsp
~Cumin Powder- 1/4th tsp
~Red Chili Powder- 1/4th tsp
~Salt- as per taste
~Warm Water- 1/4th cup
~White Oil- 2Tsp
~Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan.
~Add chopped Ginger-Garlic. Saute for 30 seconds.
~Add chopped onion,carrot and green chillies. Saute for another 1minute.
~Add salt, cumin powder, chili powder, black pepper powder and mix well.
~You can add a pinch of sugar to adjust everything well, but that is completely optional and upto you.
~Add 1/4th cup of water. Mix well. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
~After 5 minutes open the lead and remove the flame.
~Take the Boiled and peeled potatoes. Add pinch of salt and pepper powder. Mash well.
~Add melted butter and milk cream to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
~Take a baking plate. First layer with the sauteed vegetables mixture. Then add the mashed potato mixture on top. Tap well.
~Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 40 minutes.
And the one pot easy meal is ready to eat.
